Blake Belladonna (Black Shadow Cat) is one of the main protagonists of the Rooster Teeth anime-influenced web series RWBY.
She made her first video game appearance in RWBY Grimm Eclipse and makes her first fighting game appearance in BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle as one of the Season 1’s DLC characters in console and 21st default character in PC version.
Bio[]
A Huntress student at Beacon Academy and part of Team RWBY, she used to be part of the Faunus terrorist organization White Fang until she stepped out, realizing how inhumane their methods were. As Faunus are often prejudiced towards, she hides her cat ears under the ribbon on her head. Despite her efforts to start a new life and move away from her past, issues regarding Faunus prejudice still rile her up from time to time.

- Blake's character theme in BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle, Blake Mix, features her character themes From Shadows, and Like Morning Follows Night.
- Blake is one of two DLC characters to appear in the opening cinematic for BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle along with the 20 base characters, the other DLC character being her partner, Yang Xiao Long.
- Due to controversial issues on PC version‘s pricing, Blake is made as a 21st default character to appear at that version’s launch, while Yang is added via its time-release update patch.
- Originally, Blake's last name is spelled "Belladonya" instead of Belladonna in Japanese by English announcer, until it is later left unused to get her proper spelling name globally.
- Blake has color palettes of the following characters: Ramlethal Valentine (Guilty Gear), Kokonoe Ayatsuki Mercury (BlazBlue), Yosuke Hanamura, Linne, her classmate Lie Ren (RWBY) and Belle (Disney's Beauty and the Beast).
