Akatsuki EN-Eins Characters

Akatsuki EN-Eins (アカツキエンアイン Akatsuki EN-Ain) is a series of Japan-only dōjin fighting game created by Subtle-Style, featuring Akatsuki Prototyp 1 (later renamed as Akatsuki Blitzkampf) and its Ausf. Achse update, alongside the sequel EN-Eins Perfektewelt and its Anastasis update, starring the protagonists, Akatsuki and EN-Eins. The series mainly focuses old school gaming aspects such as Melty Blood, Eternal Fighter Zero, or Big Bang Beat as many of the systems and conventions in the game are rather similar to several late 90's fighting games created by Capcom. It is highly popular in Japan and recently in becoming a worldwide meme, earning the nickname "Jewpuncher". While commonly released on PC, only the original release of EN-Eins in Arcade only, while the latest update titles Ausf Achse and Anastasis will be on PC after their Arcade releases, while Ausf Achse PC was announced after 11 years after its arcade release prior to delay due to COVID-19 pandemic. Currently, only the original Blitzkampf got an unofficial English sub patch. It is one of the most oldest game series alongside BlazBlue's spiritual predecessor, Guilty Gear, Team Arcana's Arcana Heart (formerly owned by Examu) and Type-Moon's Melty Blood.

In BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle, the series' Reflector, a staple parry which can only counter attack automatically against close physical attack is universally act as Reversal Action, leaving those who has Dragon Punch attacks as either Distortion Skills, part of normals or an assist attack. Ever since Akatsuki's guest inclusion in Under Night In-Birth, all Akatsuki EN-Eins characters will uses sprite graphic style as Under Night game itself (excluding Blitztank being drawn by Arc System Works), even they are also listed under the Under Night file rows. Their Clash Assault portraits however, based on their original appearances, except Akatsuki uses Under Night style portrait.
