Iron Tager, designate TR-0009 (Red Devil), is a playable character and one of the supporting protagonists in the BlazBlue series. He returns as a playable character in BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle.
Bio
TR-0009 "Iron" Tager was once the leader of Bullet’s mercenary group who got mortally injured on a mission by Azrael; he was rescued by a female Beastkin scientist from Sector Seven named Kokonoe Ayatsuki Mercury who modified and healed him with cybernetic implants and demon genes. Since then, he has become Kokonoe's main field operative, performing missions to assist his new master on her scientific works. However, he tried to keep his existence of being alive a secret from Bullet, telling Kokonoe not to reveal to his female subordinate about this.
Trivia
- Tager has color palettes of the following characters: Potemkin (Guilty Gear), Bullet (BlazBlue), Kanji Tatsumi, Waldstein, Yang Xiao Long, and Orisa (Overwatch).
- Despite being called Iron Tager by the source material, the "Iron" part of Tager's name is never used in game or in the story by the characters, including himself.
