Orie Ballardiae (Purifying Executor), is a playable character and one of the supporting protagonists, from a seemingly secondary protagonist faction called Licht Kreis, in Under Night In-Birth and its updates. She returns in BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle as one of the Season 1’s DLC playable characters.

Ten years ago, Orie Ballardiae saw her parents murdered at the hands of a Void who could communicate in human languages (presumably Merkava). Before she could meet that same fate, the Licht Kreis - now an all-female organization dedicated to hunting Voids - saved her as she awoke to her powers as an In-Birth. Since then, she was raised in an orphanage run by the group, and taught how to survive the Hollow Nights alongside her friends and teammates, earning the rank of 5th Executor in the process. She later becomes a leader of a certain faction of Litch Kreis, which includes includes Mika Returna in her team.

Eventually, she was ordered to move to Japan to investigate the early movements of the Amnesia faction, and transferred into school where Hyde Kido studies as cover, under her last name alias, “Harada”. There, she met a fellow Litch Kreis whom Orie and most of other Litch Kreis members despise of, and happens to be in a similar mission as her, her unknown rival Erika Wagner the infamous Crimson Knight.

  • Orie shares the same Japanese voice actress as Ruby Rose and Mai Natsume.
  • Orie has color palettes of the following characters: Elphelt Valentine (Guilty Gear Xrd (-SIGN- version)), Rachel Alucard, Mitsuru Kirijo, Vatista, and Weiss Schnee.
  • ”Ballardiae” is Orie's official last name according to French Bread, and is mistranslated in localized versions as "Valadier".
