Claude D'Aspremont, known by his codename Sai (Evil-Eyed Agent), is a recurring anti-hero in the Akatsuki En-Eins series.
He returns in Blazblue: Cross Tag Battle as one of the Post-Season 2 DLC playable characters.
Bio[]
An agent of the Xinhua computer company based in Hong Kong, but in reality he is an agent and a colonel for MI6, hailed from England. He gathers information in the world through clandestine, and illegal, means. Rumors say that behind his sunglasses lurks an evil eye that can kill a man instantly, and somehow made Sai younger and immortal for decades. Sai revealed to have a rivalry with Murakumo Zero (or simply Murakumo) since 50 years ago in the past war, and which explains Sai's evil eye ability.
Sai is also associate to Kati’s family, and likely being her guardian too. When Kati somehow begin to act strange and disappeared, Sai begin to look for her. It is likely once he learned that Kati was possessed by an ancient witch Mycale at 14, but freed by an gun user nun agent Anonym Merel, who ended up being Mycale’s last host, Sai immediately took Kati's comatose body into safer place at Tibet at the same time he stumbled to find Wand of the Evil Eye: Morgenstern from Gesellschaft's base, which can be useful for Kati's own protection. Before Kati wakes up, Sai implanted the curse on the Morningstar wand using a Koruna finger posing to keep the power in check. Once Kati fully recovers and found the Morningstar, Sai reveals himself that the weapon meant for her own protection, under circumstances to teach her how to control its power under her command. While Sai was in a middle of handling with British government on taking the traces of Murakumo’s remaining locations, he learn that Kati somehow wandered off alone, worrying she might end up endanger herself again like the last time.
