Hibiki Kohaku (Kohaku Family Ninja) is a character in the Blazblue series. He was an NPC in his first appearance in Chronophantasma, but was made playable in Central Fiction.
He returns in Blazblue Cross Tag Battle as one of the Season 2 playable characters.
Bio[]
Hibiki is a servant of the Mutsuki Family and captain of the Novus Orbis Librarium. As the servant of one of the Duodecim families, he is well acquainted with their members, such as Jin Kisaragi. The Kohaku family is one of the Mutsuki branch families. They are trained for silent assassinations and are so rarely mentioned in historical books. As a member of this family, Hibiki was also trained in the assassination and stealth arts, proving it multiple times by appearing undetected behind backs of characters like Jin or Tager.
As the personal assistant of Kagura Mutsuki, Hibiki is the one largely in charge of planning and setting up Kagura's plans. However, Hibiki is so devoted to his service to Kagura, that its left him little in the way of normal emotions and desires, which resulted him in becoming more than a little unhinged when it comes to "protecting" Kagura, and might have some deeper feelings of resentment toward him, border lining Hibiki wanting to kill Kagura for the thrill of the kill and become truly emotionless and become the perfect killing machine, an aspect of himself he tries to hide.
