Kagura Mutsuki (Black Knight) is one of the major supporting characters in the Blazblue series, specifically in Chrono Phantasma and Central Fiction, where he appears.
He returns as a one of the Post-Season 2 DLC playable character in Blazblue Cross Tag Battle after the release of initial said Season.
Bio[]
The head of the powerful Mutsuki family known as the Black Knight, Kagura K. is the representative Novus Orbis Librarium officer in the 5th Hierarchal City of Ibukido who is secretly a disciple of Tenjō Amanohokosaka and entrusted to care for his young child Homura (not to be mistaken for Senran Kagura's Homura). Having discovered the truth behind the NOL's corruptions since Ikaruga War, Kagura planned a coup d'état against the corrupted organization, with the help from Sector Seven, and eventually learned whom Ragna the Bloodedge, Jin Kisaragi and Noel Vermillion are. While his plan did not go exactly as he had thought, Homura A. was still throned as the new Emperor of NOL.
Kagura K. often have a bad habits of being womanizing many ladies (not those who are physically underage like Platinum the Trinity, or someone who are completely a robot like Minerva) he encountered, drinking alcohols, even skipping paperworks. Due to slacking from his work, Kagura K. is often being scolded by his servant Hibiki Kohaku, who originally planned to kill him secretly before he learned the truth as well, and decide to torture his new leader by giving him multiple document papers he should have finished for only the former's fun, but the latter's own betterment too. It is stated that Kagura K. and Makoto Nanaya use to be on a date, but they ended up broke up each other while still remain friends normally, due to his lecherous attitude, even Ragna begin to be overprotective from having Kagura K. nearing his "sister" Noel once get to know him for days.

- Much like other difficult characters like Mitsuru Kirijo and Vatista, Kagura's gameplay has been altered while retaining his stance-based moves, whereas Kagura K. becoming a rekka-style character.
- He shares a same name as the titular character of Senran Kagura.
- One of his color palettes are references to one of his voice actors use to dub Marvel's titular Iron Man, and Brad Wong from Koei Tecmo's Dead or Alive, befitting their womanizer nature.
- Kagura M. having Tony Stark’s color reference is also act as a tribute to their late-original Japanese voice actor Keiji Fujiwara, who died in cancer on April 12, 2020.
- Additionally, due to Fujiwara’s death, as mentioned above, he now shares a same Japanese voice actor as Yu Narukami. Ironically, Kagura M. is a polar opposite to Yu when it comes to attracting playable female characters in their respective home series, something which Kagura M. unable achieve.

- Kagura K. is shown to be a pervert, as shown through his many interactions with a majority of the females, since he analyzes most of them for their B-W-H measurements and even attempting to grope some of them.
