Yozakura (The Mighty Matriarch With Massive Mitts) is one of the supporting characters in Senran Kagura series, debuted in the first game of the second timeline, Senran Kagura: Shinovi Versus.
She makes her first fighting game appearance in BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle as one of the Season 2 DLC characters, after the initial expansion’s release.
Bio[]
A second year student and member of the elite class of students in Gessen Girls School, a prestige school for good shinobi. Yozakura works as Yumi's second-in-command, as well as chief enforcer, of the Gessen elite ninja squad due to her being the eldest of twelve brothers and sisters. After her shinobi parents died on duty, she became responsible for looking after her siblings, which became hard for her after her other family members took each of her siblings in, including herself. After rejecting her family members and running away, Yozakura found herself adopted by a man named Kurokage saying "he could give her the strength to protect what is important to her," and hoping that someday wanting to be reunited with her younger siblings.

- In the initial release of Season 2/Special Edition, Bewitching Gessen High was temporarily Yumi’s theme, just as her Astral Skill theme being temporarily her actual theme, Grandfather’s Wish. At time when another datamined Senran Kagura reps announced, Bewitching Gessen High changes to only applied against Gessen Girls team members like Yumi and Yozakura, just as Yumi get Grandfather’s Wish back as her original theme, alongside having new Astral Skill theme applied to other Senran Kagura fighters aside Yumi.
