Sophie, codename Weiss (spelled Weiß) (Surviving White Valkyria), is one of the main characters in the Arcana Heart series, and where she is the primary protagonist of the third game sub-series.
She returns in BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle as one of the Season 2 DLC characters, after the initial expansion’s release.
Bio[]
When she was once Sophie, Weiss was one of the two girls alongside Scharlachrot who are genetically modified with respective artificial Arcanas, Gottfried and Baldur respectively into Valkyrias by Drexler Institute for their evil purposes. One of the fellow prisoners who are not entirely Valkyrias are Eko and the Hybride Minori Amanohara, with the latter was in a different cell. Until that day, Petra Johanna Lagerkvist rescues Weiss and her fellow prisoners (Minori included, but four of them unaware she was present) and to be raised as one of their agents to atone Drexler Institute’s sins. When Scharlachrot somehow disappeared and instead reappearing as Drexler Institute’s brainwashed servant, Weiss is dispatched to save her friend. Weiss also considers Heart Aino as the very active field-leader as Petra.

- She shares a same Japanese voice actress as Elizabeth.
- One of her color palette based on Cammy White from Street Fighter series, due to both Weiss and Cammy shares both voice actors in two different languages.
- She and Saki Tsuzura use to placed in minor NPC icon prior moving to playable sections within the player tag customizations once they are announced as playable fighters.
- Due to using her codename, means she shares a same name as Weiss Schnee, meaning they will have a similar situation as Team Naoto since Season 2.
